Back to square one!* I had been doing so well not drinking, then a few months ago in a moment of weakness I gave in with having only one beer, thinking "this is no big deal."* Well here we are months later with gallons and gallons of alcohol having passed through my system in that time.* It took me a couple of weeks to get back in the mindset to quit and May 1 was the day.

Glad to be in here with you guys.* This is a very re-assuring place and the stories I have read make me feel like there are other people who understand the burden of alcohol and all of the crazy thought patterns and actions it creates.

Think I'll start a journal.

Glad you are here. Pull up a stool and chat a while. Read until your eyes fall out and then post in your journal and soon you will have a week, then a month and the rest of your life under way. Take the advise from what the vets have written in other people's journals and apply it to your own life. Life is great for me now that I'm sober and enjoying it. Stick around and give life a chance to become great.
Stay strong and keep on quittin
