thanks andrew, i am pretty sure this will be okay. i decided not to wear the patch because it itches, and i thought, just do it. i dont need to put nicotene in my body to get rid of the cravings. thanks for the advise and congrats on 55 days. dont you feel great?

hate to say, but i am going to have to give up my decaf coffee as coffee and cigs to me go hand in hand. without smoking and drinking coffee, i will go ahead and get my arse up in the morning and go to the gym rather than sitting around drinking coffee and smoking. so many sacrifices....

That is the website for a counter that will keep track of your days, money saved and cigs not smoked. It can be very handy! I found though that when I finally quit for good i never looked at it. This is my read out from it.
Quit for 5 Months, 4 Weeks, 14 hours and 52 minutes (181 days).
Saved $585.71 by not smoking 2,724 cigarettes.
Saved 1 Week, 2 Days and 11 hours of my life.
My Quit Date: 6/29/2007 2:30 AM

I am on day 6 not smoking, but wanted to smoke today...
I agree that 3 cigarettes is way better than a pack or more!! I had to quit the cigarettes at the same time of quitting drinking 6 days ago because they go hand in hand with me.

Hi Metoo,
Thanks for reading my journel and for the encouragement. Im so glad I found this site and all these good people. I found it by accident. I was Googling this medication my doctore gave me a year ago for drinking-Camprel-Tried it didnt like it, even drank a few times taking it. I was going to give this drug one more try and thats when I googled its side effects and WQD was listed on the same sight. Been quit 9 days now without the meds. OH! I forgot last year At the same time I was presribed Camprel I was on Paxil also.
I hope I can do this without the drugs this time. If I slip I will just start over my quit again. Thanks again-Pen:D
