HEY !

Thanks everyone I really appreciate the kind words and encouragment, and yes it has been an anxiety filled process, trying to deal with some big issues. Health, anxiety, parents, singledom and 40, career, financial,... it's overwhelming at times... where's the ice cream?

I know I can be a harsh potatoe at times and I do read everyones comments and try to take advice where i can... you know it takes time to implement changes ... and i think that at a year the stuff is still settling... and I'm still wondering what it's like to have some real friends who don't use me for drinking entertainment, and have my best interests in mind. I'll stop there...

You have become my friends, you have given me support when i feel i am drowning and grasping for air, you have told me about similar families, your own families, you have told me that you don't know what it is like but you wish me the best in dealing with it, you have told me you admire my sober accomplishment, you have made jokes with me and posted funny pics and beautiful landscapes in my diary and helped to lighten my mood and change my focus, and there have been some disagreements followed by some quality communication via PM where both parties grow and feel better, my eyes have been opened...

SO, i think that is what i need to work on for my second year, how to be a better friend to you in return.

Thanks for helping me get here.
