Wow, thanks D thu M! I forgot this was on the calendar. (I should have taken it off) I want to clarify and state that I have been drunk twice in 12 months. I screwed up twice. I did remember today would have been my "One Year Sober" date but decided not to even bring it up and just wallow in my own self pity cause I was weak. I do however have a lot of sober time under my belt and I'm beaming proud of that, (I used to be a drunk!) And I have the Q to thank for that. I know it's "us","ourselves", that ultimately has to do the work but we all need tools in life for whatever we are doing and the Q has been mine. When I slipped the first time, I got right back on the horse, or wagon whatever, and didn't look back. The second time I slipped I was so disappointed in myself I stayed away from here for a while. Shame and guilt are terrible things. Anyway, I couldn't stay away for long and have been sober every day since. And I love it. Life is good for me now. Thank you to EVERY single person here. We make the Q what it is and it's fucking awesome.:)

Well, there are different perspectives about the count thing here. This isn't AA, so we're entitled to that right. (No offence AAers)

To me it's about quality, not quantity. Numbers are a bit moot when you think about what's down the road in the next 40 years.

If, out of 365 days you have messed up on 2 of them, should the 363 be disregarded and you not be entitled to celebrate all the hard work you've put into having a better life? Well, I don't think so.

But...

Legalistically to please the gods of numbers, I guess it IS feasible that I could say,
