Jasper,

I too wish you belated congratulations....you have said many things that have enlightened me over the past months...it is obvious that you speak from your heart, but not with out putting some thought into it as well....

Congrats on your effort. Enjoy the fruits...they are yours....

Thanks you guys!! Quitting was such a great decision. I'm not sure I would have followed through without all of your support and friendship. Thanks! :)

Again congrat's on 1 year Jasper,I like your sig line, that's how I've been feeling lately, AFRAID..Afraid I will drink again!........but your sig line has helped me today think that you know ,today I've decided to stop being so afraid!

Thanks

Jasper

Yeah, I've decided to stop being afraid about a lot of things. Going back to drinking; looking people in the eye; trying new things; money issues; clinging to the security of work versus self-employment; people liking me.

You'll never get to the end of your life and be happy you were afraid. I try to think about myself on my death bed and live the way that'll make that person proud.

Here's a great poem for you, supposedly written by someone facing terminal cancer...

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER AGAIN

If I had my life to live over
I'd dare to make more mistakes next time, I'd relax, I would limber up. I would be sillier than Ive been on this trip, I would take fewer things seriously. I would take more chances, I would take more trips. I'd climb more mountains, I'd swim more rivers, I'd go to more places that I have never been. I would perhaps have fewer actual troubles, rather than more imaginary ones.

You see, I am one of those people who lives sensibly and sanely, hour after hour, and day after day. Oh yes I have had my moments, and if I had it to do over again, Id have more of them. In fact I would try and have nothing else, Just moments, One after the other, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.

Ive been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, a gargle, a hot water bottle, a raincoat and a parachute. If I had it to do all over again, I would travel lighter than I have.

I would start barefoot earlier in the Spring, and stay that way until later in the Fall. I would go to more dances, I would ride more merry go rounds. I would watch more sunrises and I'd pick more daises,

That is If I had my life to live over again, But you see I dont..............

:)
