We had a TERRIFIC opening weekend! I even got a little mention by the local reviewer who said my character was "comic and endearing". :D My boys came to the matinee on Sunday and the first time I walked onstage they both started yelling "Hi, Mommy!" Suffice to say, the audience cracked up and it took me a minute to remember my line! Glad to see all of my homies in the shop today. I'm sipping a Frappacino and finishing up some leftover fruit salad this afternoon. Happy Thursday, everyone. :)

I am off to the hospital for my last official day in my outpatient program. As much as it hurts to admit it, I have finally come to terms with the fact that my eating disorder will always be a part of me, but for the first time in my life that doesn't feel like a death sentence. It has been a tenant in the house of my body and mind for as long as I can remember, but for once it is no longer the landlord. As I've been listening, feeding and learning these last two months more and more tenants (joy, humor, excitement, interest, creativity) have moved into the "house" and my ED is now relegated to the crappy guest room. :) Love and joy to you all on this beautiful fall day! Now...I am off to truly ENJOY my French Toast!

Damn...sorry I'm late but I got lost in The Chat lookin' for y'all. It's too late for coffee and pastry now, but maybe I can tempt you with a pic of what the boys and I had for dinner at Claim Jumper tonight.

These ribs were beyond good...they were "slap-your-grandma" good! Unfortunately, I had to order an extra rack because my 5 (yes, I did say F-I-V-E) year old twin boys ate the entire rack of ribs, the whole baked potato with sour cream, butter and chives and a salad with ranch dressing AND two pieces of buttered bread a piece before Mommy and Daddy even made a dent in their pre-dinner salads. Bless their hearts being born to parents that are both triathletes with metabolism like a freakin' hummingbird but I will have to take on a second job or sell an organ to feed them when they are teenagers!

BTW, if there are any fitness junkie "Q-Northwest-Stock" people coming to the get-together in January, let me know 'cuz I work for THE fitness club in Portland (oh yeah, I am soooooooooo cool) and I can hook y'all up with a guest pass. ;o)

It’s lovely to see you – I miss you too. A leisurely breakfast with you is just what I need today. Finding my twin means is truly wonderful.

Those marionberry scones look delicious – I’m supposed to watching my weight but who cares.

It was a fantastic few days in Oregon back in January – I have never properly thanked you and the girls for looking after me so well. Our brunch at the Westin seems like a lifetime ago

Just got done making one of my specialties for my locals:

It's a 16 oz nummy delight

Chocolate
Caramel
Butter Pecan
3 shots espresso
steamed milk
topped with tons of whipped cream, drizzled with caramel
and topped off with a few chocolate covered espresso beans.
