well within the whole situation ove been through as i mentioned to some of you fine people before i was a super excellent baseball player in high school basically i would have had a scolarship to play college ball and possibly made the bigs if i would have playedmy cards correctly. but instead i let booze and bad choices blow my ride.
anywho ive been dying to get back into the game there was nights id lay in bed drunk as a skunk and tell my wife over and over and over and over again how good i was and i blew , really i told her so many times she really got sick of hearing since it was at 3am when i was drunk keeping her up all night.
so i have contacted a gym close to me and friday i have to go for a health and fitness evalution with a physical trainer, then they are going to put me on a fitness program with a trainer to get me back into shape to start playing some adult hardball in this small time league next season ( yes im only 29 i could get at least 12 more years of ball out of me before im little league coach material lol)
i think the lady didnt believe me on the phone that i was getting back into the game knowing who i was and its been a few years. but screw her i make my fate!!!!! I also contacted the league who was familair with me thank god and im going to start hitting the batting cage this week (that ought to be interesting ill take video to give you all a laugh) and even better i need to start catching again since i was a catcher so i need to go in the batting cage and catch off the machine (remember the kid in billy madison lol) think about me get nailed trying to catch a 80 mile an hour fastball .... but this is living proof things can start to happen that article i posted aout texas ranger outfielder josh hamilton is my motivation if he could come back from the brink of death and hit 28 homeruns in the homerun derby i could possibly step back to that plate and crack the son of a bee 410 feet over that center field wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say go for it. What do you have to lose? That's great. I'm returning to some activities that I had to give up as a drunk too. It's actually pretty exciting.
